WiFi calling depends on your carrier, not your phone. You need check with your carrier whether they offer this feature or not.

If you want to make calls through WiFi network, but your carrier does not offer it yet, you have to use voip, for example, viber, skype…..

You need download Google USB driver so that the phone can be recognized. Then you can use it as normal storage device.

You do NOT need the SDK.

If your Android 6.0 Marshmallow installation was successful, you should be able to plug in your Nexus via the micro-USB cable to your PC with a message showing the USB for charging connect – Touch for more options. Once you choose that options on your screen, it should give you following choices, Use USB for:

      •Charging only
      •Transfer files (MTP)
      •Transfer photos (PTP)
      •MIDI

Guest mode session can only be started from your account when there phone is unlocked.

You can remove current (existing) guest session as explained in this guide so that guest option is not available in lock screen. https://gadgetguideonline.com/android/lollipop/how-to-use-android-lollipop-guest-user-mode-and-multiple-users/

Wrong. Guest available even from ANY lockscreen in Android Marshmallow on Tab S2. Cannot disable without root. Security breach to SD card. It’s ridiculous.

Hi All, Since upgrading to Marshmallow, I now no longer have the option of “Ask Every Time” with my VoIP setup.
I only have “For all calls when data network is available”, or “Only for internet calls”.
I want the original option of “Ask each time”.
Does anyone have any idea what’s up? Phone is an HTC one M8.
    Thanks for your help.

Not sure about this on HTC devices. On Nexus devices, you can add add an sip account, then specify use it for all calls or for sip calls only. It doesn’t ask either.

If you need it to ask each time, you may use some voip apps to manage sip calls, and phone app for other calls.

I also have M8 and just noticed that this option is missing after upgrade to MM.
What is particularly annoying is that now when I make a call I don’t know if I am using my SIP account or my normal mobile operator.

I assume you are using Google Now launcher.

In Settings–Google–Search & Now –App suggestions, you can the app suggestions (which appears on the top of app list page) on or off.

If you cannot find Settings– Google, you should have Google Settings app then.

You cannot update by yourself if the vendor has not released the marshmallow update for your device. You need check with HTC community to find out whether you will get Marshmallow update and when.

Anyway, in almost all regions, update is available through OTA. If there is no Marshmallow update when you check update from your phone, it usually means the Marshmallow update is not ready yet.

For HTC One M9, you will surely get Marshmallow soon. For HTC One M8, you may have to wait a while.

    I have a Nexus 5 running Android 6.0.1.

This seems so simple. I just want to be able to see the current temp on my lockscreen, without unlocking it.

I’ve tried half a dozen weather apps, but they all do the same thing. There’s a notification on the lockscreen that shows the temperature, but only since the lockscreen activated. If I haven’t unlocked the phone in 8 hours, the temp it displays will be 8 hours old.

Meanwhile, as I sit here on my PC with my phone hooked up with a USB cable, every 30 minutes or so, a notification of the current temp from the Google App comes across my desktop through Mighty Text.

Googling it, I’ve found 3000 articles on how to make the screen do a barrel roll, but nothing on this.

    It’s driving me nuts.

    Can you help?

Not sure about any solution. As I know this is normal since Lollipop 5.0. The widgets on the locked lock screen does not update automatically except the clock. The only way for the app to update such info on the locked lock screen is through notifications. But this can be very annoying: you do not want to receive weather notifications every hour.

In some regions, guest user and multi user are still available in the Marshmallow update.

So, it depends on region and firmware. it seems it was mainly removed in Lollipop 5.1 update.

But if it is not available in your phone, you cannot enable it.

Settings – Google – search & now, you can turn off “allow rotation” under home screen so that the home screen will always be in portrait orientation.

I have the Motorola Mot G 3rd generation, recently upgraded to Marshmallow. Now, whenever I am walking down the street, my phone beeps fairly often. Reason, Android 6 keeps telling me that there is another WiFi network to which I can connect. I DON’T CARE and I DON’T WANT THE BEEPS!!!

Tried going into Settings->WiFi->(3-dots)->Advanced->Network Notification. Changed it to OFF. Still beeps.

Do you have any other ideas? When will they fix this bug?

Moto G (2nd gen) with 64 gig microSD formatted “portable.”. Downloaded Android 6 last week. Found couldn’t read File structure upon connection to PC worked fine under Lollipop). Also found GPS functionality gone (worked fine under Lollipop). Found (at least partial) work-around for the PC connection issue while waiting for microSD card reader adapter. Haven’t tried the Google USB reader app yet (but will). Have no idea how to regain GPS function. So HELP!

For SD card, you may try to format it on the phone again. Also after connecting to the pc, check notifications on the phone, make sure USB option is MTP, not charging only.

For GPS, did you check location settings?

I have an LG G3 that updated to Marshmallow and I’m having a few issues with it, any help would be very much appreciated!

1- I don’t have the vertical ‘app drawer’, its still the slide left and right 20 apps/page style and there’s no uninstall option for apps
2- I can’t move apps around on my home pages, when I hold an apps icon I only get the options to replace or remove it (Also is there no longer any way to group more than one app into a folder?)
3- I used to have my calendar and quick memo (widgets) on my home screen so I could see what I was doing that day at a glance; is this feature no longer available?
4- can you remove the accuweather app or at least take it off the home page; it’s almost always wrong for my area.

And last, not a problem but is there a way to hide the phone contact page? I find it incredibly annoying!

      1. Vertical app drawer is part of Google Now launcher. It is the default launcher in Google Nexus devices and Moto Devcies. It is available in Gogole Play store, and you can download and install it if you like it.
      2. You can just move the app, after holding it. If you drop it over another app, it should create an app folder for the two. The replace option is to help new users. You can move the app to that location, then move it to desired location. For most users, you can just move as you did in Lollipop or KitKat.
      3. You can add them again as widgets. Tap and hold any blank area in home screen, you should see the option to add widgets.
      4. Tap and hold it, then you can see the option as you mentioned in Q2. Move (without releasing your finger)it to “Remove”.

What contact page? if it is a widget, you can always remove it from home screen as normal widget.

For #1, thanks, didn’t realize it was a separate download apart from the upgrade

For #2, believe me, I’ve tried that over and over ’cause I can’t understand why it doesn’t work… but it doesn’t. Instead of the icon moving i only get the option of removing it from my home page or deleting it, it will not move at all (and because of that will not make folders). It worked just like you said until this update.

#3, tried that too… no go. When I try to tap and hold a blank area nothing happens at all… #4… nope, also doesn’t work. I try that and it just opens the app no matter how long I hold it for. It will not go away.

The contact page isn’t a widget (I can’t find ANY widgets on my phone after this update), it’s a page of a bunch of squares each with a silhouette of a person and ‘+add’ on it; when you tap on it it takes you to your contact list to chose which contact to add and a call log’ button at the bottom.

Has anyone else had problems with their Moto g (2nd gen) micro sd cards after upgrading to Android Marshmallow? I’ve had the message about not recognising the card, re-formatted it as advised as set it as ‘internal storage’ then it seems to disappear. It now says there’s no sd card loaded and the available internal storage is back to the phone’s original 8gb, ignoring the 32gb on my SanDisk??

You may try to insert the card again. If the SD card is not detected properly, it usually means there are some hardware problems with the SD card or the connector. Did you try the SD card on other devices? You can also try other SD card on the phone.

Thanks for your reply. I have re-inserted the card several times and factory reset the phone. After the reset the phone ‘reads’ the card but asks for it to be formatted. I have tried setting the card up as separate storage and another time reset and set is as internal storage. Both times after formatting the phone then doesn’t see the card. I am going to get an sd card reader to check the card but it seems too much of a coincidence that the card only failed on me directly after upgrading to Android 6?

Not sure. But hardware failure can happen at any time.

It is better to check the SD card. You can also get a new SD card. When buying micro SD card, you should try to get branded one and from reputable sellers. There are so many fake SD cards in the market.

So I tried to update and it looked like it updated but the screen keeps flashing on and off. I cannot access any apps because none of them appear on my screen. I can turn my phone off and I have even tried taking the battery out and putting it back in. Nothing changes it still flashes on and off. I tried to see if I could uninstall it and reinstall it through Kies but I couldn’t do that either. I can hear that I am still receiving updates and texts because my phone still vibrates and then rings with the notification. I am incredibly frustrated and would appreciate anyone’s help to navigate through this

Ever since my Motorola G extra (2nd generation) upgraded to marshmallow, my phone has been malfunctioning big time. One problem is that it intermittently does not recognize the microwave SD card. I formatted it to be internal storage and moved many of my apps there. Once in a while I can actually open those apps, but most of the time I cannot because of the problem I just mentioned. Often the phone will simply restart itself on its own, especially when I am trying to use an app on the micro SD card. I absolutely hate marshmallow because of this and the fact that my audio and speakers no longer work correctly for making phone calls. Has anyone found a permanent solution? My phone is now a useless money pit!

You should not move app manually!Let the system manage it.

Also, after a major update like Marshmallow update, if you have problems, you may try to backup the phone and try a factory data reset.

    Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ update marshmallow 6.0.1

as far as I can tell, the update is pretty good with some cool new features… but, I want this to go away:

    “Apps Edge

Access your most frequently used apps quickly via the edge screen.

Swipe the edge screen left or right to view other panels.”

this is a pretty simple concept, I really don’t want to have the directions on my screen forever~ I’ve dug through the settings and can’t find a way to take it off… any suggestions would be appreciated ~:)

no wait… I don’t want to disable the edge panel, the edge panel is awesome… but I want the directions of “how to use it” to go away. specifically the one under the apps panel. the “people edge” doesn’t have the directions, just the “apps edge”… it says:

        “Apps Edge

Access your most frequently used apps quickly via the edge screen.

Swipe the edge screen left or right to view other panels.”

I scanned the article and the ones within it and found nothing… had I been looking for help on how to work the edge, the article would have been great ~:) so, thanks for that… but… any more suggestions on making the actual directions go away without disabling the edge panel?

Not sure about what exactly you want to disable. If you want to disable the text in apps edge, no you cannot. The text is very helpful for news users and you cannot use the space even if you remove the text.

no, i wasn’t looking to use the unusable space while using the edge panel… I wanted the “how to use the edge panel directions” on the edge panel to go away, not the text In the edge panel. I understand it’s helpful to New users, but since this was an Update, it doesn’t make sense to continue to tell us how to swipe left and right when we had the edge panel and knew how to work it Before the update. that’s like putting “Caution, Coffee Is Hot” on a coffee drinker’s personal mug because some new people might start drinking coffee. Or having the words “jump and punch” on the game screen as you’re playing your game. who can’t figure out how to swipe left and right after the very first swipe? it’s a guide, and like guides, it should go away after the first use. I was just hoping there was a way to turn off the new user guide since it stayed on… what a horrible addition to the new update.

thanks for trying though~ your time and attention was appreciated ~:)

This is new feature in Samsung’s Android Marshmallow update for Galaxy S6 and Note 5. After a reboot, you must use pattern/PIN/password to unlock the phone and you cannot use fingerprint. You were asked to setup pattern/PIN/password after the update. You may read this guide on when you cannot use fingerprint after Marshmallow update https://gadgetguideonline.com/galaxys6/samsung-galaxy-s6-guides/changes-on-using-fingerprint-to-unlock-galaxy-s6-in-android-marshmallow-update/

In Android Marshmallow update, you can enable mobile data when screen is locked. ADM cannot unlock the phone. It can only lock the phone. You need use Samsung’s find my mobile service with your Samsung account (if you added the Samsung account to Note 5). I formatted my SD Card (under Android 6.0) to be used as Internal Storage and it didn’t work. Then I tried to “Migrate Data” from the “actual internal storage” to the SD Card (which was supposed to be used as internal storage now – but it NOT) and it F–ked up my phone… had to do a factory RESET and then once again (after the reset) I tried to format my SD Card as internal storage and ONCE AGAIN it did NOT work… Grrrrrrrrr…………. So now (just like before) my internal storage (only 5Gb) is FULL and I am unable to transfer data to my SD Card which has been formatted (for the 2nd time) to be used as Internal Storage… oh and my SD Card is a 32 Gb one… How can I fix this issue?

When formatting the SD card, you need choose move data now as explained in this guide.

Also, after resetting the phone, you should set SD card BEFORE restoring apps. It is too late to set SD card if the internal storage is already low.

Hi, I have had my Samsung Galaxy Note 5 since last year and have updated to the latest android update 6.0.1. I used to be able to simply connect it to my PC and could transfer/delete files. Since the update my PC doesn’t recognise my Note 5 as a media device on Windows although my Note 5 is in MTP mode and I no longer have the option to USB debug.

Basically the option of USB debugging is unavailable, my device is in MTP mode but still doesn’t recognise on my PC and my Note 5 doesn’t show any notifications for transferring files just for charging. Anybody know how to fix this so I can simply connect my Note 5 to my PC via USB to back up and transfer/delete files as I please?

Whether Note 5 is recognized has nothing to do with USB debugging. You can enable USB debugging in developer options on Note 5 by following this guide.

On the phone, when it is being charged, you can unlock the screen, check notification panel to see whether there are any notifications on USB.

On the PC, you can try to re-install Smart Switch for PC. This will update/reinstall USB driver for Samsung phones.

I have enabled developer options. The issue is I can’t enable USB debugging as it is grey and won’t allow me nor give me option to enable USB debugging at all.

When I have charged the only notification panel coming up is that the phone is charging. The option of USB configuration is possible but still doesn’t connect to the PC on a MTP level.

I have re-installed and updated Smart Switch and it still fails to recognise.

My issue is that even though I have done everything possibly imaginable it will only charge when I connect to my PC via USB. Windows explorer doesn’t recognise the Note 5 and the Note 5 is in MTP mode and still refuses to be recognised as such.

Basically I can’t get my Note 5 to be recognised or connected to my PC as a MTP and I know for a fact it has something to do with this latest update.

Anyone got an answer for me?

In Android Marshmallow, the default USB option is charging only, not MTP. You need change it in notification panel. But your problem is still the USB driver or the USB cable. Did you try it in other PCs or with other USB cables?

I have changed the mode to MTP via Settings, I can’t change it in the notification panel. Even though I have done that though it still only charges and the phone itself doesn’t recognise as an MTP.

            Anybody else?

If there is no notification, it means the data connection is not established. The problem is very likely on the PC side or USB cable as mentioned. You can try another cable, or other USB port or other PC. Your PC should try to identify it when a USB device is connected.

You can move an app cross the rightmost page to add a new homes screen page. Google now launcher automatically remove empty pages. So, you need put at least one app or a widget in the new page in the home screen.

Google bar is part of the Google now launcher. You cannot remove it. If you really don’t like it, you have to use third-party launchers.

Android never offers call recorder. Actually, it’s purposed disabled in recent versions. In many regions, recording a call without consent from there other party may be illegal.

The call recorder very likely is provided by the phone manufacturer. You can check with them.

    Hi All,
Now that they removed Moto Assist, I am frustrated, LOL
I used it for things such as: setting up certain locations my phone would recognize so it would always be unlocked, or always silenced at these locations.
With Marshmallow, Motorola decided to take away these features as they would be duplicated with Marshmallow….however I can’t find anywhere how to set up these kind of things….
    Can anyone help?

Unlock the phone based on locations can be set in smart lock as mentioned in this guide https://gadgetguideonline.com/android/lollipop/how-to-use-smart-lock-in-android-lollipop/

You can use do not disturb to silence the phone based on time or calendar, but not location, as explained in this post https://gadgetguideonline.com/android/android-marshmallow-guide/how-to-use-do-not-disturb-dnd-in-android-marshmallow/

I’m using lenovo A7000 and recently updated marshmallow and chosen 32GB SD card as internal memory. It was worked as internal memory perfectly quite some time, all of sudden I got message that SD corrupted and doesn’t show data stored in the card, it shows zero files, I lost all media files!! However USB storage option in settings SD card shows 6.5GB used out of 28GB. Since it’s treated as internal memory I’m not able to read the card as drive in other devices/computer. I have important media files and documents in SD card and I didn’t backup them. I’m bit worried!!! How to recover the data from SD card. I assume if SD card changed back to portable, it will format and lose data!!! Please support

You should backup the files if they are important.

It’s not easy to recover the files if the system detects the file system is corrupted. You probably have to engaged some expensive data recovery service providers. But I don’t think they can guarantee anything.

My phone is not rooted (nor do I need to), but is there a way to get the AT&T (or T-Mobile which is my carrier) 6.0 version?

Sometimes, the carriers only update the phone on their own network. You can try to remove the SIM card, then try again, or try it with an AT&T sim card.

    Good day Group,

I have a Galaxy S5 (SM-G900W8) with firmware 6.01 on Bell Networks (Canada)

I have been getting the notification that I was running out of space – but I had a lexar 64 Gig SDXC card installed.

I did not recall seeing an option to switch my Card to internal when it when from version 5 to version 6.

I removed the SD card – copied all the files to my PC then formated the card so it would appear as a blank card to the phone.

I reinstalled the card in the phone and on power up still did not get the option to add it as internal memory.

When I check the storage (from settings) I show Internal 13.87 Gb used of 16 GB, and external 7.50 Mb used of 59.62 Gb

I use a lot of apps and would prefer to set at least 1/2 of the SD card for internal so I stop getting the running out of space message.

From what I have read previously I should be able to do this, but not sure how. If necessary, I would allocate all of the SD to internal

If you could point me to the correct procedure, I would greatly appreciate it.

None of the Galaxy S our Note has the option to use SD card as internal storage. You can only use it as portable storage. Samsung simply disabled this option in the Marshmallow firmware.

I found this on adaptable storage (http://www.phonearena.com/news/How-to-set-the-memory-card-as-internal-adoptable-storage-on-Galaxy-S7-and-S7-edge-no-root_id79189)

It is for the S7 but It was my understanding that an S5 using marshmallow would also work.

I installed the adb program and partitioned the SD card to mixed 50, so I could copy/move files to my PC with have the SD card.

When I look at my storage now I see

Device Storage 34.43 Gb used out of 64 GB

Internal Storage 13.88 GB used of 16 GB
SD Card 226 MB used of 29.80 GB

        Portable Storage
SD card 288 kb used of 29.82 GB.

Will the device now use the 29.80 Gb listed under device storage SD card for app’s ?

        Thank-you

I would not recommend that hack, personally. As the feature was removed purposely, any future update may make the back invalid and you may lose all data on the SD card.

There are no official easy to rollback in Android update. If you really have to revert back to older versions, you can visit the service centre and ask them to flash the phone for you. Don’t do it yourself unless you fully understand what you are doing.

So often in Hangouts, I would tap something and call one of my contacts–even that is crazy, should be some way to save it then go to another one to save without going to Home, Contacts and entering everything again, Then home, Contacts, info….over and over. I had a Flip and have to manually add the contacts. Any step by step procedure that you could share until I get use to how or any advise from this site.

For the font in messaging app, it depends on the app. You can try to pinch to change font size in most messaging apps.

Not sure about the phone. Some phone manufacturers may not update the phone at all. If the manufacturer doesn’t release the updated firmware, you cannot update the phone to marshmallow.

OTA usually is the official and default way to get update.

As I know, LG (and Samsung ) removed this feature in Marshmallow devices. You can only use SD card as portable storage, not internal storage in LG or Samsung devices with Marshmallow.

You should try Motorola devices which allow you to use SD card as internal storage in Marshmallow devices.

For the major android brands, only Motorola doesn’t disable the adoptable storage.

In some devices, you may use ADB commamd to enable adoptable storage. But it’s not recommemded. New updates may cause some data loss.

Anyway, if the phone dialer does not have the video calling feature, you cannot use it. You have to use WiFi/mobile data based video chat apps. You can try Google Duo to make phone number to phone number video calls.

Did you get the udpate from OTA? The Marshmallow udpate should not take so long.

Anyway, you can hold power button for more than 7 seconds to reboot the tablet. If not working, you can hold down volume down button, and without releasing the volume down button . then holding power button for more than 7 seconds (holding 2 buttons) to restart.

Anyway, if you cannot bypass the initial Samsung logo screen, you probably have to visit local Samsung service center.

Did you try to format the SD card in your PC or other devices first, then try to format it again in Moto X?

Did you try to reboot the phone (with SD card inside) and try again?

Also, make sure SD card was inserted tightly in the slot.

    Hello,
I’d already read the article for ‘updating system to Marshmallow. I’m a researcher for this topic because I’m experiencing an old system version. I think I’d already read all blogs and hacks to update it but still no method suits to update my Cherry Mobile S820.
I cannot update my system version, it is. because my system settings was not offering a ‘system update version’. I have a OTA software update application. But, when I am looking for the new update, it says, “software is up-to-date”.

I am stock on my Jelly Bean smartphone. And cannot afford buying a new one. Please help. And, refer me for more info about fixing my missing system update button. Help and Reply please. Thanks…

Most Android manufacturers only update their devices for about one year (from the date when it’s released). Some only update the flagship models.

I don’t think you can get the update for your mobile because the manufacturer is unlikely to release an update for it.

Please note, Android system update includes drivers, which only the manufacturer can release it. This part is usually proprietary.

Screen overlay just like pop ups.

What exactly did you want to do? What apps are you referring to? For Samsung phones, you can check Settings – Applications – application manager, tap more button near top right, tap apps that can show on top. You can then manage it.

No, it’s a legal requirement for phones manufacturers to have the power off option without unlocking the phone in some regions.

Also, power button is also your last resort when your phone hangs because more and more phones have non removable battery.

But when you are in guest mode, you should have the option to remove guest.

Also, in lock screen, you can always start a new session for guest user.

Again, in lock screen, you can choose main user.

When the phone is ringing, by default the screen should not be off. You can double tap the screen to wake up the screen. You can also press power button to wake screen up.

Once screen is up, you can see the options to pick up or accept the call by swiping differently.

Are you sure it’s Marshmallow? Samsung’s Galaxy Note stopped at ICS. There are no Marshmallow update for it. If you flashed the phone with third-party ROM, you should check with the developer. I don’t think there are any well known ROM for it.

do you mean micro SD card (memory card)?

Of course, you can use any micro SD card. Marshmallow does not have any special requirement in micro SD card. However, if you want to use micro SD card as internal storage in Marshmallow, it is better to get a fast SD card.

You need the Google account existed on the tablet when it was reset. This is the purpose of device protection (factory data reset protection). You should contact the seller on this.

The correct procedure of selling used tablet and phone is to remove the Google account before resetting.

Anyway, device protection as explained in this page https://gadgetguideonline.com/android/lollipop/how-to-bypass-device-protection-in-android-lollipop-5-1-when-you-do-a-factory-data-reset/

Very likely, the super power saving mode was added by the manufacturer.

By default, in stock Android, power saving mode only turns off background data, not mobile data service. You can manually enable or disable mobile data after power saving mode is enabled.

Anyway, you should not such power saving modes as daily feature. The performance will degrade in power saving mode. Besides, most of such power saving modes are designed for standby. If you actively use the phone, battery saving mode will NOT save battery. Often, it may waste battery.

Are you referring to mobile data or 4G network? They can be different.

You can disable mobile data without disabling 4G. Some carriers already stopped offering 2G. So you should not turn off 4G network.

To turn off mobile data, different phones may have different shortcuts. For example Samsung phones have a mobile data on quick settings panel. For stock Android, you can also find the button with network signal strength in quick settings. You can tap it, then disable mobile data. You can also go to settings – data usage to disable mobile data (cellular data).

You can format it in any devices as long as SD card is recognized as a SD card.

The encryption only prevent any other devices from reading the contents/files. After you format it, it will be not encrypted any more and any devices can use it.

Back up the phone. You should always back up if anything is important. Photos can be backed up to Google drive automatically through Photos app.

If you want to use SD card as internal storage. You have to format the SD card. When formatting, all data will be erased.

If you don’t want to format the SD card, you can continue to use it as portable storage. But you can not use it to install apps. Only a few apps may use SD card to save downloaded contents.

Not sure about the exact cause.

In different regions, the components used in the phone may be from different suppliers. This is the reason why you should not change the region of the firmware.

I just bought an LG (model LGLS450) refurb phone from TextNow.com when I subscribed to their cell phone service. In setting>general tab>About phone, it says if is running Android 6.0.1 although a tech at TextNow.com told me it is running Android 5.0.1. I went online and found an LG user guide for model LGK3_Al-AS110 which the tech told me is the regular version which should be the same I need for my refurb phone. I printed and put the guide in a 3-ring binder. I am not sure if I am running 6.0.1 or 5.0.1. My screens don’t exactly match up with the guide. I did a search for an Guide for Android 6.0.1. and found lots of guides but none from GOOGLE which created ANDROID. After looking as several others, i deemed this one from gagetguideonline.com to be the better of the ones I have found so far. Here is my issue:
All of the guides and references to Android 6.0.1 “assume” that the reader is already a user of an earlier version of Android. That is NOT helpful I need a guide that assumes the user is NOT familiar with or an expert user of an earlier version. I need a guide that assumes that I am a BEGINNER with Android. Secondly, the LG guide does not have an INDEX. It has a very good CONTENTS, but an INDEX would be much more helpful. My recommendation would be for you to develop each of your guides with the assumption that the user is a BEGINNER. Your guide could include notes or special fonts to show the differences or improvements. Just my two cents.

Thank you for the suggestions. We will try to improve our guides to help more users.

For LG K3 (LS 450 in US), it should be shipped with Android Marshmallow. LG K3 AS110 (aka LG K3 2017) is a newer model (also running Android Marshmallow) released a few months later than LS450. This is the
reason why you see the differences.

For LG K3 LS450, you may download the official user guide from LG site directly: http://www.lg.com/us/support-mobile/lg-LGLS450#manuals
