Introduction: Notifications are important and can be annoying. You want to get the important notifications and avoid the spam (marketing) ones. Galaxy S23 offers full control of the notifications. However, you need to manually change some notification settings because every Galaxy S23 owner may have different needs. This page only gives an overview of the notification types. With the Android 14 (One UI 6) update, you can sort the notifications by time.
On the Settings screen, tap Notifications.

- Lock screen notifications: Set how to show notifications on the locked screen.
- Notification pop-up style: Select a notification pop-up style and change the settings.
- Do not disturb: Set the device to mute all sounds except for allowed exceptions.
- Advanced settings: Configure advanced settings for notifications.
