I cannot get certain answers to certain questions . Google home all ways say it cannot help me with that. Can it teach me certain words in spanish?
simon says
You may try to rephrase the question. Spanish support on Google home is still limited. You can try Google Assistant on your Android phones. It has better support for Spanish.

How do you reconnect. To Wifi.?

Features on Home vary by country, but in January 2019 there are now seven regional dialects of spanish and ten of english for speaking to your Assistant
You can chose any two languages under Settings/Assistant/Languages in any country as a second language,Then ask Google to “translate to spanish”

I looked at youtube videos for set-up etc but my HOME app does not look like them (setting button top left missing) also have trouble setting default music players because radio buttons not there??
downloaded the app about one week ago so have they changed the app or am I doing something wrong ??
Hope you can help (bought Google home mini 21/07/19)
simon says
The Home app changed a lot after merging with Chromecast. One you open the app, it should list all your Google Home and Chromecast devices including devices to be set up. The menu key on the top right is for a link to feedback and help.
Did you set up the Google Home Mini yet?

Got Google home on fire 10 he but when I play movies from Netflix or prime video I get sound but no pic
simon says
The problem is due to Fire OS.
Prime Video is pre-installed. You cannot remove it unless you root the tablet. The pre-installed version of Prime Video does NOT support Chromecast. The version on Play Store supports Chromecast (as explained here), but you cannot install it on Fire tablets.
Netflix is another story. The app check “compatible” devices. Once it detects it is Fire OS, you can only install it from Amazon App Store. For the version on Amazon Appstore, there is no Chromecast support. For other versions, although they support Chromecast, Netflix blocks the casting function once it detects it is a Fire tablet.
You should be able to cast most of the other apps, except these two, I guess.

simon says
Prime video and Netflix app on Fire HD tablets doesn’t support Google cast (Chromecast).
If you use YouTube, you should see the cast icon and cast it without issues.
Screen mirroring (screen casting) requires considerable processing power. Fire HD 10 may struggle. But the issue you encountered is very likely due to the two apps. They simply don’t allow the second screen through Google Cast. They only allow you play on fire TV as the second screen.
