Hi, This is my first Samsung phone... Is it possible to reduce an image file size so that it is easier to email or text, as one can do on an iPhone? Thanks.
Unfortunately, there is no resizing option in Gallery app (the default photo editing app) or Photos app (Google's app). Some even advanced free photo editing apps, like Google's Snapseed, do not offer resizing option wither.
When you send photo through MMS, it will be resized automatically. Email will always use the full size.
To resize a photo, you need an app (it sounds embarrassing). You can try Photo & Picture resizer Free version is sufficient.
Not ideal, but better than nothing - thank you!

No, Samsung removed air view feature in Galaxy S devices since S6.
Air view is still available in Galaxy Note devices.

The adapt sound tunes the frequencies which you can hear and boost the frequencies which you can't hear. So it is a personalized equalizer based on the test (sound profile).
It is one of the most useful, but under-used features of Galaxy phones.
