Hello. I factory reset my Samsung galaxy s7 over 24 hours ago, and has not finished. is this normal?
It should take only a few mins to do a factory days test.
After the process of the formatting, the user agreement appeared but it-s connected to the mobile data so it cant continue on with the connecting to internet that takes less than 2 minutes. What now?
Did you set up WiFi? you can remove SIM card during setup.
Internet connection is needed only if you need to reactivate the phone with the Google account existed on the phone before it was reset. If you set lock screen security to none, or remove all Google accounts before resetting, then it should not ask you to reactivate the phone. Internet connection is not required.
I saw porn popping up on my s7 edge and I assumed I had a virus. This is a phone my cousin gifted me for my birthday. She had erased her information and I inserted a new sim and set up going through the google verification. However, following the pop-ups, I reset the phone to factory setting. Now it is asking me for my email and password. I used the one initially signed up with but it said it was incorrect, so I did a password reset, and I have been locked out since. I tried to bypass the FRP lock but I don't get that user agreement page everyone else on the videos get. It it just move me from language to wifi to enter google information, I waited 24 hours as they suggest and I am still getting nowhere.
If you change Google account settings, you may have to wait up to 72 hours before you can use this account to unlock a phone.
Your can use find my Android device (formerly called Android device manager) on any pc to check whether the device is listed under your account.
