Galaxy S7 camera burst mode (aka continuous high speed mode) allows you to take quick succession of photos during important moments.
You can later use the photos taken in burst mode to create animations, or select the best one.
In Galaxy S7, the maximum number of photos you can take in burst mode is 100 in one shot. In Galaxy S6, the maximum number is only 30.
After using Galaxy S7 camera burst mode, the Gallery app in Galaxy S7 can identify one of the best photo for you.
Also, Galaxy S7 camera burst mode works for both front and rear cameras.
There are no settings for Galaxy S7 camera burst mode in Galaxy S7 or S7 edge.
In other words, burst mode is always enabled in Galaxy S7 and S7 edge.
To use or access burst mode in Galaxy S7, you simply press and hold (aka long tap) the camera button in preview screen (aka camera interface, which is detailed in this guide)
The camera will take photos continuously at the maximum speed, and all burst mode photos are saved in the internal storage even if you set SD card as storage location for photos.
You can release your finger from the camera button to stop shooting at any time before the number of photo taken is less than 100.
Or, Galaxy S7 camera burst mode will stop automatically after 100 photos were taken.
Photos taken with Galaxy S7 camera burst mode can be managed as a group in Gallery app in Galaxy S7 or S7 edge
.If the photos were taken in burst mode, a special icon (marked as 1 as shown below)will be shown in the center of the photo. The number of photos in this burst mode shot is shown below the icon.
For example, as shown below, there are 17 photos included.
If you want to delete all of the 17 photos, you can tap anywhere (for example area marked as 2 in the screenshot below) except the burst mode icon.
Then tap Delete as shown below to delete all 17 photos included in this burst mode group.
If you tap the burst mode icon (marked as 1 in the screenshot above), you can then manage individual photos taken in burst mode.
As shown above, there is one photo has a crown icon. This is the photo that Gallery app believes it is probably the best one.
Of course, you can ignore such recommendations.
You can tap the thumbnails of individual photos to edit them.
You can also delete individual photos in the burst mode group.
You can also create a GIF animation from the photos taken in burst mode.
When you are reviewing individual photos of a burst mode group, tap MORE button as shown above.
Then tap Animate as shown above to create a GIF animation from photos among the burst mode group.
As shown below, you can exclude any individual photos from the animation by tapping the “-” icon next to each photo.
You can also adjust the animation speed and aspect ratio of the GIF.
You can tap the play button to preview the animation.
Once you are happy with the animation, tap SAVE button as shown below to save the animation.
Galaxy S7 camera burst mode works on both front and rear cameras.
But sometimes, you may find the bust mode is not working when you hold the shutter button.

Some owners of Galaxy S7 and S7 edge may find that they may launch burst mode accidentally.
But unfortunately, there are no options for you to disable burst mode in Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 edge.

burst mode sucks, I lost a one in a life time event because of stupid burst mode ,get it off my phone
Can I save Burst pics onto sd card or can they only save on internal storage ? How ???
Photos taken in burst mode are always saved to internal storage because burst mode requires fast write speed. You can move them to the SD card after they were taken.
Can I use burst mode in pro-mode?
No, burst mode doesn't work with Pro mode. You can try it in Auto mode.
Is there a way you can share via text whatsapp or email all of the bursts shots? Instead of sending therm 1 by 1. I have 3 of them that have at least 100 in them each.
No, burst shot photos can be recognized as "one" shot only by Gallery app. When you share them, it will be treated as individual photos.
Does anyone knows a good app in windows to manage the pictures taken with burst mode similar to the gallery app? I dont really like edit and check the pictures in my cel phone.

Pictures taken in burst mode are just individual photos on the pc. They are indifferent from other photos. They are grouped only in the phone.
How can you share the animated gif to instagram as a gif and not a single image? Nothing I've tried seems to work.
I don't think Instagram supports GIF. You need to convert the gif animation to mp4 video.
Where do I find the photos that were taken in burst mode? I don't see them in my gallery, or anywhere else.
Gallery should include all photos in the phone. The physical location is in the DCIM folder in the internal storage. If you have SD card, other photos are in DCIM folder in SD card. In this case, burst mode photos are in different locations.
Anyway photos taken in burst mode are always saved in internal (phone) storage.

No, you cannot use timer with burst mode.
On the Samsung Photos app I tried to make an animation from a burst file, but accidentally clicked "keep only this photo" and it deleted all the other bursts but that one. Can I get the other bursts back? Where can I find them? Thank you!
