Samsung just announced the plus-size sibling of Galaxy S6 edge: Galaxy S6 edge+ on August 13 (together with Galaxy Note 5).
Apparently, the sales of the duo (Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge) are not as good as expected as reported. Samsung need new flagship phones to get the market.
Will Galaxy S6 edge+ give Samsung a lift in poor sales?
This post will try to highlight new features of Galaxy S6 edge+ vs Galaxy S6 edge.
As suggested by its name, Galaxy S6 edge+ is really a plus-size sibling of Galaxy S6 edge.
The screen size of Galaxy S6 edge+ is 5.7″, which is significantly larger than the 5.1″ S6 edge.
The dimension of the Galaxy S6 edge+ is 6.08″ x 2.98″ x 0.27″; while Galaxy S6 edge only has a dimension of 5.59″x 2.76″ x 0.28″.
You will also feel Galaxy S6 edge+ is about 16% heavier (153g) than S6 edge (132g).
But for most owners, one-hand operation is not a big issue.
Edge screen is a signature feature in Galaxy S6 edge.
In addition to all features of the edge screen in Galaxy S6 edge, the Galaxy S6 edge+ adds more features to the edge screen.  Now you can add favorite apps to edge screen.
For existing Galaxy S6 edge owners, Â Samsung may bring this feature to your phone in future update.
Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge set the standard for smartphone cameras in 2015.
Although Galaxy S6 edge+ uses the identical camera sensors as Galaxy S6 edge, significant improvements in camera features can be spotted.  These include:
Again, probably (no confirmation or guarantee from Samsung yet) these features will be added to Galaxy S6 edge in future update.
Galaxy S6 edge+ shares almost identical hardware specs with Galaxy S6 edge.
But for the RAM, Galaxy S6 edge+ comes with 4GB; while Galaxy S6 edge has 3 GB. For most owners, Â they will not notice the difference. But for heavy game players, and multi window users, the additional 1GB memory should boost the performance and reduce the possible lags.
Thanks to the larger size of Galaxy S6 edge+, a larger battery with 3000mAh capacity is fitted in S6 edge+. This is 15% larger than that in Galaxy S6 edge (2600mAh).
Galaxy S6 edge comes with fast charging and wireless charging. But when you use wireless charging, fast charging will not be activated.
Now Samsung introduced fast wireless charging to Galaxy S6 edge+. This is the first smartphone with fast wireless charging. It is faster than normal wireless charging. But it is slightly slower than fast charging.
So the charging time sit between fast charging and wireless charging.
It is unclear why Samsung removed the IR blaster from Galaxy S6 edge+. Probably due to the low usage and cost saving. Most Galaxy phone owners are not aware of this feature.
As for SD card slot, and removable battery, I listed them as the defects of Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge. Â Galaxy S6 edge+ continue to disappoint some potential owners who need these features.
Anyway, if you need removable battery or SD card support, Â Samsung is closing the doors for you.

No, you need get a new sim card from your phone company. Your old phone is using micro SIM card, but Galaxy S6 requires smaller nano SIM card.
Do not try to trim the sim card by yourself.

You can transfer all contracts on the sim card to the phone, then sync with your Google account. The procedure depends on the model of your current phone. But generally in your contracts app, you should have the option.
You should not save contacts to sim card nowadays because contacts in sim card can only have one number.
Recently, I've been frequently getting the "Sign in failed" message when my S6 tries to sync to my ATT email account. I re-enter my email password and it does the sync. A couple of hours later, I get the same message. It's getting quite annoying to have to repeatedly re-enter my email password.
Does anyone know how to fix this annoyance?
You can try to set sync frequency a bit longer.
hai i bought a new samsung edge plus mobile. i added google account and my phone got locked and after rebooting, its asking for my google account and password which i forgot. how can i get my google account. or how will i know which google account i have registered with. please help me. thanks

friends if u have any problem with ur google account or if its forgotten please go to ur nearest Samsung service center. they will sort it out. only thing u need is ur proof of purchase.etc. thanks hope this tip will help.
