From a speed standpoint, it is still dialed in and flying. The little USB-A to USB-C converter is awesome since my customer machine is all USB-C and my machine is both, but my company issued Surface Laptop is all USB-A along with my many older machines, thereby making it easy to float around the fleet and transfer stuff.
It feels stout, fits into the machines well, and chugs away quickly, so really there is no downside here. The only reason I didn't go for the larger drives is simply because I live in fear of losing it. I wish someone would make a way to find a stick when you lose it like a Apple tag or whatever. I would buy that drive!
Just some words of advise. I you are having issues with transfer speeds, try plugging the drive into the back of the PC.

I bought a SAMSUNG Duo Plus 256GB USB flash drive on sale for around $43.99 and that's a good price compared to its competition in July 2021.
Its read & write speeds are fast, although similar to ALL flash drives that I have used, its speed varies a lot and its speed depends on the file size and formatting of the drive. Small files write much slower than large files, and that is typical of ALL flash drives (a.k.a., thumb drives) that I have used in the past 20+/- years.
Cons:
SAMSUNG Duo Plus' write speed varies a lot, but it writes faster than the Kavolen drive that I have, and this SAMSUNG drive writes much faster than the Elefull drive that I have.
Comparisons:
My Elefull drive was lower priced $ but it developed multiple ''bad sectors'' after using it for 1+ months.
My Kavolen drive had more and more slowdown issues in reading & writing data after using it for a month.
So far, after using this SAMSUNG drive for 1 month, I haven't noticed any read/write issues or bad sectors.
Before using the drive, I formatted it into Apple’s APFS format since I don’t really touch PC’s unless I am paid and have mentally prepared myself.
For some of those folks having performance issues, I suspect the formatting may be a reason especially if it is either a non-native format or a format intended for 32bit architecture.
It’s a little more expensive than other flash drives, especially for the 256gb one but considering the performance difference and comparing it to others on the market, it is reasonably priced.
Love that it is USB-C flash drive that also has a built-in USB-A adapter. Quite a smart and ergonomic solution.
For Mac users with Thunderbolt 3/4 ports: The small size of the flash drive allows for other devices to be plugged into the port next to it.
Hope the product lasts a long time.
Top reviews from other countries
I ordered the 256Gb model from the seller Tekturn as they claimed to be selling the newer model that is 400mb/s, although the description says 300. I did receive the 400 so I’m happy about that.
Edit: worked perfectly with my all my devices and it was incredibly fast, especially with regular university notes and pdf's. Definitely recommend, might buy myself another one
